Episode 4 - Colorful Conversations: Making Money Talk Fun and Easy in 5 Steps

Published on: 25th March, 2023

Hey there, my dear friends! Have I got a treat for you today! In this episodeI continue to share my tales of talking money with my dad since I was 3. But don't let my humor fool you, I know my stuff when it comes to getting your finances in order with my five-step method. Again, my dad taught me how to make Conversations over Money Easy!

Now, I know talking about money can be about as fun as watching paint dry, but I make it a breeze. It's important to make financial literacy easy, and that's exactly what I do. First things first, you gotta strut your stuff with confidence in your cash flow. Then, lay out all your liabilities (aka debts) like a boss. Next, evaluate your earnings (or lack thereof) like a pro. After that, make sure you're on the right track with your financial goals. And finally, review your results like a champ.

But wait, there's more! I suggest taking just 30 minutes a week to get your money game on point. And to make it even more enjoyable, I recommend using some colored pencils and a piece of paper to make it all pretty. Plus, I remind us that it's important to take a break and review your plan every once in a while.

Oh, and parents, listen up! I stress the importance of teaching your kiddos about financial literacy. It's never too early to start learning about money, and I make it easy and fun for everyone. So, let's all get our money talk on and start adulting like pros with me as your guide!
